    Hello Alexander, thanks for all the great watch info. I would like to know what your thoughts are on Corum watches especially when compared to other fine swiss watch brands? Any reason why you omitt the brand entirely from your list of Luxury Swiss watches? Thank you kindly for your time.

      Corum will most likely be added onto this website in the future. I’ve written reviews on 24 Swiss brands (you’ll find them to the right or in the top menu), and I needed to start with some brands as a foundation for this website.
      Corum is an interesting brand and I would actually contemplate adding it in the future, and writing a brand review on it, just like I did on the current 24 Swiss brands, and I migth even add information on where to buy Corum watches online.

          Corum is a relatively new brand – it started in 1955, and it hasn’t had any significant impact yet on the luxury watch world’s innovation and technology, nor is the brand particularly famous nor does it have any significant volume of production, and for these reasons, I don’t think it should be ranked among the top 20, but maybe among say the top 25 or top 30 luxury watch brands. Keep in mind that this is merely my subjective opinion – this isn’t the gospels written in stone.

          As far as price and luxury are concerned, I’d definitely say that Corum is above TAG Heuer.
          As far as impact on watchmaking is concerned, I’d say Breitling is far more significant than Corum.

          Corum makes good watches of high quality, but it’s a very young brand. It needs time to prove itself. Quality wise, I do believe Corum is comparable to say TAG Heuer, Oris or Longines.

      If you’re looking for Swiss Made divers watches in the $1000 – $1200 price range, I’d recommend:
      1) Oris Aquis
      2) Oris Diver
      3) Longines HydroConquest
      4) TAG Heuer Aquaracer
      5) TAG Heuer Formula 1
