Brief information and technical specifications:

About Omega:

In 1848, the 23 year old Louis Brandt established the forerunner of Omega in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. The headquarters of Omega is today located in Biel/Bienne in Switzerland, and Omega is wholly owned by Swatch Group.

The name Omega is derived from the last letter in the Greek alphabet called Omega (Ω). Since ancient times, Omega (Ω) has been a symbol of mysticism and spirituality.

Omega’s accomplishments are many and impressive

Omega is the nr 1 pioneering brand that has pushed the boundaries of both technology and human history. Omega has travelled to the Moon and to the bottom of the ocean! Omega has travelled farther and deeper than any luxury watch brand!

Omega is famous for its “Moon Watch” – the Omega Speedmaster, and its diverse and excellent divers watch collections – the Omega Seamaster.

Omega is also famous for its highly accurate and reliable movements that are fully comparable to those made by Rolex.

Omega is furthermore famous for using Co-Axial movements, and Omega has been the official timekeeper of James Bond 007 since Pierce Brosnan’s debut as James Bond in GoldenEye (1995). Even as we speak, Omega is still the official timekeeper of the James Bond franchise.

As far as ranking is concerned, Omega belongs to the top 10 luxury wristwatch manufacturers and brands in the world – without question. It’s successful worldwide and Omega is available at several retailers around the world. It’s said that Omega enjoys a 70% global brand recognition.

About Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial:

The Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial line is an “old-new” collection dating back to 1957.

“New” in the sense that this collection was released just a few years ago by Omega. Even the name of this collection is new. The movement and the watch are all together ultra modern: this collection uses the Omega in-house made 8400 co-axial movement which is entirely anti-magnetic, and the watches are made in Omega’s modern factories.

“Old” in the sense that the design of the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, is strikingly similar to the original Omega Seamaster divers watches released in 1957. The Omega Seamaster was Omega’s very first modern divers watch. If you pay close attention to the dial of the watch, you’ll notice that it lacks a date function – in similarity to the 1950s’ Omega Seamasters.

The Omega Seamaster is the longest running adversary and competitor of Rolex’s flagship – the Rolex Submariner.

In similarity to the legendary Omega Seamaster Professional 300 (the classic Omega James Bond watch used by Bond actors Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig), the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial too has a water resistance of 300 meters.

In similarity to the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, and the Omega Seamaster Ploprof, the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, relies entirely on Omega’s in-house made co-axial movements.

What sets the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial apart from the other Seamasters, is that the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial lacks a date function, and therefore uses Omega’s in-house 8400 movement, instead of Omega’s in-house 8500 movement.

Unlike Seamaster Professional and Seamaster Planet Ocean, the Omega Seamaster Master Co-Axial lacks Omega’s characteristic and famous Omega helium valve at ten o’clock, and the Master Co-Axial, unlike the other Seamaster collections, has a “vintage design”.

Practical Usage:

Practical, elegant, versatile and robust watch. Can be used for diving and for formal and festive occasions as well. Perfect for a suit and elegant attire.

James Bond 007:

The Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial was used and worn by Bond actor Daniel Craig, in the 24th Bond Movie Spectre (2015).

Since 1995, Omega has been the official watch brand of the James Bond movie franchise.
